Footwear completes every attire. One must put the same amount of thought into footwear as one does with one’s clothing. The most basic and famous footwear in the current days is the sneakers. The origin of how the sneakers became unisexual is a fascinating element of history that hints at gender equality back in time. Women’s sneakers in Australia are famous for their equal depiction of comfort and style.

The idea of women’s shoes was first conceived when women publicly entered athletics in the 1920s. However, the initial models did not produce the comfort that one would need to walk, run and do other athletic activities. Heeled shoes were designed with a justification for preserving a woman’s femininity. This idea is ridiculous as the notion of a woman’s femininity was somehow dependent on reserving herself to the previous women’s chores in the household. With certain advancements, both in thought and fashion, the first women’s sneakers arrived sometime in the early 80s. Development in footwear had opened new forums of comfort, functionality, and style.

In the current world, sneakers are credible for various types and designs fashioned today, making them a staple in every woman’s wardrobe collection. Sneakers are styled in a street-style look or a way of adding comfort to a classic look, and henceforth. The various types of women’s sneakers are:

  • Classic: The classic sneaker is often monochromatic and does well when worn with outfits that have a precise colour. One immediately thinks of a white sneaker on hearing the word classic. This one is a definite must for any wardrobe collection – man, woman, or child. It is a go-to, versatile solution to match any sporty or street-style outlook.
  • Low-top: Another staple that best suits clothing that touches up to the ankle. It is more designer footwear than a sporty one, with its innumerable prints, stripes, and patterns flaunting one’s personality and attire. Even though this can’t be matched with any outlook, it can be the perfect set of footwear for denim jeans when on a girl’s day out.
  • High-top/Basketball: These sneakers evict the worry of socks peeking out from the corner. These have a chic, laid-back appearance when they have prints or tailoring that enhance them overall. These are a great option to wear with a pair of tightly fitted jeans. They are called basketball sneakers as these types of sneakers are used extensively in the sport’s footwear for the comfort they give during play.
  • Trainers: These are shoes that are specially designed for activities like walking, jogging, and running. They come with extra support on the soles that can give feedback and therefore avoid menial injuries.
  • Slip-on: This is footwear for those who are always on the move. They are the kind of shoes that can be just slipped on casually. With no laces to tie or socks to match with, they are easily the most comfortable pair of footwear.

The best part about these sneakers is that they are available in various materials – cloth, canvas, and leather. Available in different materials and with their unique styling, they make a good fit for professional attires.

With the various activities that women enrol themselves with, a pair of sneakers comes in handy. Whether one is walking, running, just meeting up with friends, or a professional meeting to attend, sneakers could easily be the best in functionality.
