Early life
The creator of the blog is a 20-year-old student majoring in political science at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds degrees in literature and philosophy from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been the founder and CEO of several organizations, most recently an entertainment consulting company. Early inspirations were The History Channel and National Geographic documentary series, but it started as a personal blog where he dissected different aspects of his life, which included his college life, issues with his father, and other real-world experiences.

The creator of the blog is a serial monogamist, which means he has been in relationships with same-sex or multiple women. He believes that each relationship is equally important and that romantic relationships do not have to be a function of gender or sexual orientation. He does not believe we are one or the other. Since beginning his blog, he has been in multiple lesbian relationships and openly admits that he finds himself attracted to them. He does not see sexuality as a measure of one’s worthiness, but rather it is something he explores with others freely without fear of judgment.
